Dear Families and Whānau of Puriri Community
On Friday 9 December, there is an opportunity for our students to experience the local environment and celebrate the end of the school year for the Year 2 team.
We will be travelling by bus to Wenderholm Regional Park. We depart Warkworth School at 9:15am and will return to school by 2:15pm.
We will be setting up at site 2 for the day. We will have some fun sports games, beach games, sandcastle competitions, a beach swim and picnic with all the students in the Year 2 community (Puriri Team).
We will require adults who would be prepared to assist on the day. Children will be in groups down at the beach, where they will be enjoying the beach environment and the local park. You will need to stay with your allocated group for the whole session.
There are risks associated with involvement in any school EOTC events and these risks cannot be completely eliminated. However, the school has identified any foreseeable risks or hazards and implemented correct management procedures to eliminate or minimise those hazards. .
The children will be strictly supervised and will have a good understanding of boundaries and rules before we leave school. We hope you are able to assist us with this opportunity.
Thank you Puriri Community Teachers
